Rose Madrone Producer/Director/Camera
Rose is passionately committed to living with sustainability and stewardship as a primary focus, as well as being aware that our daily choices actively create the world in which we live. She has worked with, and taught of, the natural world for over 25 years. Through botany, herbal medicine and permaculture, where the ripple effect of her teachings help facilitate the understanding that we are all indeed an essential link in this amazing web we call Life.
Thus, the Connectivity Project was born, with the intention of cultivating the right questions in order to understand these ever-present interconnections. Finding where incredible people and works already embody this and sharing this with all of you is a core goal, as well as helping to facilitate this awareness of how truly significant each and every one of us and our actions are.
"Through my travels, I have experienced that often when we feel pain, conflict, and sadness, that this comes from a disconnect with the world around us. I find myself wondering what our world would look like if we acted as if what we do matters, truly understanding about the interconnected nature of life, and our role in it. Can we create the kind of world we want to live in? I think so." - Rose

Robert Consentino - Co-Director/Camera
Robert has over 20 years experience in motion picture/television production. He finds the challenges of visual storytelling the most inspiring and rewarding endeavors in the world. He is fascinated with the endless creative opportunities of the cinematographer.
Working within the constraints of time and resources, and using experience, experiment and instinct to craft the images, his goal is to add visual and psychological depth to the story and illuminate the interior life of the characters in this upcoming film.
"The deeper I look inside myself, the more aware I become of my surroundings, I realize just how connected my well-being is to everyone else in the world and to all living things. This brings me closer to the people I know and encourages understanding and compassion towards the ones I don't."- Robert
Heidi Zimmerman - Editor
Heidi has been a film editor with over 15 years of experience in documentaries, promotional pieces, and narrative films. Kicking off her career advertising toxic cleaning products, she quickly learned that she wanted her hard work to inspire change and create empathy in the world. Since then, she’s worked on films with provocative themes such as Alive and Kicking (creating happiness from within), 40 years of Silence (interrupting the cycle of systemic violence), and the 11th Hour (climate change and what we can do to about it). She has worked with major entertainment companies such as Universal Music Group, Warner Brothers and Magnolia Pictures. Her most recent film Dammed to Extinction exposes the interconnected plight of the Southern Resident Killer Whale and the Chinook salmon plunging together towards extinction. It won Best Feature Film and the Audience Award at the Eugene Environmental Film Festival this year.
“Working on Interconnections has expanded my understanding of interconnectivity and deepened its importance in my storytelling. It’s caused me to draw out themes of interconnectivity in the projects I have worked on since then and be more intentional about making the connections for the audience.” - Heidi
